Stuart C. Siegel

During his business career, Stuart C. Siegel served as former chief executive officer and chairman of the board of S&K Menswear, a discount men’s wear company which was founded by Siegel’s father and uncle in 1967. The company sold off its corporate assets in 2009 and established a scholarship fund at the Community Foundation in 2006 in memory of Donald W. Colbert, an S&K executive and close colleague and friend of Siegel’s. Stuart also established a donor advised fund in 2005 and additional legacy funds in 2016.

Stuart is well-established in civic leadership roles, having served as Rector of the Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors and as a member of the VCU Health System. He also Chaired the Virginia Lottery Board and the Virginia Racing Commission. From 2006 to 2015, Stuart served on the University of Virginia Foundation. In 2011, he was recognized by the Richmond Jewish Foundation with the Anne and S. Sidney Meyers Endowment Achievement Award, which recognizes outstanding contributors to the field of Jewish endowments, and in 2013 was presented VCU's highest honor, The Wayne Medal for outstanding service to the University.
