Charles E. Agee III

Professional Title: Retired Director of Corporate Citizenship, Altria Group

Charlie Agee retired in 2017 as Director of Corporate Citizenship for Altria Group in Richmond, after having served in leadership roles for Altria for over 32 years. In his most recent position, he was responsible for directing corporate philanthropy, community relations, and employee community involvement programs for the Altria Group family of companies. At the time of his retirement, he was responsible for annual charitable giving of over $50 million.

Charlie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Managerial Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University. He also holds a Certificate in Corporate Community Involvement Management from teh Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Charlie currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Chamber RVA Foundation, the BridgePark Foundation Board, the St. Mary's Hospital Community Advisory Committee, and the Alumni Board at Hampden-Sydney College. His past community service and board leadership roles include, but are not limited to, ART 180, the Capital Region Collaborative, Leadership Metro Richmond, Lead Virginia, Meals on Wheels, and the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls.
