What Liz does at the Foundation:
As VP of Marketing, Liz oversees marketing and communication operations and implementation for the Foundation. This includes managing digital assets, such as websites, social media, newsletters, publications etc., as well as managing relationship marketing through public relations and Community Foundation events.
Liz has an extensive background in marketing and communications and is skilled at creating and fostering collaborative cross-sector partnerships for various groups and audiences. During her tenure at the Foundation, Liz has managed many groups, platforms and programs, including ConnectVA, YNPN RVA and cohort programs for corporate partners and donors. Liz brings a diverse skill set to the Community Foundation and strives to enhance and help to build further recognition of the Community Foundation brand, in hopes that philanthropy and service can become more integrated into our community.
When Liz isn't working:
She loves traveling to the beach, the bay, or somewhere tropical. Liz and her husband love spending time with friends and family. They have two boys – four-year-old Oliver and new baby Leo, as well as a fur baby Cayenne, a fox red Labrador.
