Chief Community Impact Officer
What Scott does at the Foundation:
In addition to leading the Foundation’s Community Impact Team, Scott oversees the development and implementation of our community impact and grantmaking strategies. He collaborates with regional leaders to facilitate community conversations and identify local needs and funding opportunities. His work fosters valuable partnerships between public and private groups who are interested in creating long-term, sustainable change in our community.
Scott also acts as a connector between donors and pressing community issues with the goal of leveraging philanthropy for meaningful change. His love for the Richmond community is undeniable and his drive to strengthen partnerships between local organizations continues to fuel our work to better serve our donors and the community.
When Scott’s not working:
He might be dining at a local Richmond restaurant (possibly in his Fan neighborhood) or spending time hiking or running along the James River. Scott loves to travel and is an avid supporter of all things UVA!
