What Kenisha does at the Foundation:
Kenisha serves as support staff for the Foundation’s Learning and Development portfolio, which includes the Emerging Nonprofit Leaders Program (ENLP). She serves as the staff lead for the ENLP alumni cohort, overseeing program development and special events. In addition, she serves on the committee for the Giving Black: Greater Richmond study which analyzes the landscape of Black philanthropy in our region. With an eye for detail and a gift for organization, Kenisha also provides administrative and technical support for the Community Engagement team and the online learning platform. Kenisha enjoys organizing team gatherings and ensuring everyone feels celebrated.
When Kenisha's not working:
She spends quality time with her husband and son, Erin, along with her family and friends – maybe while trying a new local restaurant. She’s a big fan of Jamaica House and any and all Mexican food! Kenisha also loves getting lost in a good book, podcast or Netflix documentary. Kenisha also spends her time serving on the committee for Richmond City Young Life, a local organization that focuses on providing safe spaces and experiences for adolescents to enhance their mental and spiritual growth.
