What Kenisha does at the Foundation:
In her role, Kenisha oversees the Foundation’s grants management system and calendar of processes to ensure our numerous competitive grant processes run smoothly each year. With an eye for detail and a gift for organization, she also provides administrative and technical support for the Community Impact team and serves as liaison for cross-team collaborations. Kenisha is a key member of our Black Philanthropy Month event planning team and our Employee Fund Committee as well. She enjoys organizing team gatherings and often leads activities to build team morale.
When Kenisha's not working:
She spends quality time with her husband and son, along with her family and friends – maybe while trying a new local restaurant. She’s a big fan of Jamaica House and any and all Mexican food! Kenisha also loves getting lost in a good book, podcast or documentary. Kenisha also spends her time serving on the committee for Richmond City Young Life, a local organization that focuses on providing safe spaces and experiences for adolescents to enhance their mental and spiritual growth.
