Community Impact
What Isabel does at the Foundation:
As Senior Officer of Data Management and Research, Isabel comes to this work with an evaluative lens and expertise at the intersections of data, technology and impact evaluation. She has great enthusiasm for utilizing data to inform decision-making and is driven by a keen desire to enact and measure meaningful change within our community.
Isabel holds a Master of Social Work Administration & Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also earned her certificate in Nonprofit Management. She was selected as a Growing Power scholarship recipient for the Growing Power, Growing Justice training program and helped to develop urban corner store initiatives in Richmond and Henrico aimed at increasing local food access.
When Isabel's not working:
Outside of the office, you can catch Isabel practicing headstands with her daughter and joining her husband in their backyard urban farm (once mosquito season is over). She currently serves on the Board of Director's for Shalom Farms.

- Enjoys collecting rare vegetable seed varieties that are close to extinction
